Big Gifts for Little Lives

Big Gifts for Little Lives is a charity that works with the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation to raise funds for Pediatric Heart Transplant Research. 

A heart transplant is not a cure, and they are dedicated to making sure our children live long and healthy lives. 

They are extremely passionate about this cause as not only is it an area that is especially underfunded, they are the moms of two boys who have had heart transplants – George (Kemp) and Austin (Post). They are incredibly grateful for the gift of heart transplantation, they long to see the day that a transplant is a cure.  Currently, due to many different types of possible complications,  the average heart usually lasts  between 15 and 20 years. They believe that through research, George, Austin, and our pediatric heart transplant friends around the globe, will get to live long, healthy lives.
