Black Tea

 Black tea is tea that is fully oxidized, where the tea leaf darkens giving it the “black” colour.  Black tea is often used in English blends and is considered the most popular tea in the western world. Flavours vary considerably in black tea from flowery, fruity, spicy and nutty.  A high concentration of flavonoids can be found in black tea.  This compound helps reduce clogging of arteries therefore leads to a lower risk of stroke.   Antioxidants in black tea reduce the amount of free radicals in the human body.
